12 12 Gallery International Juried Photography Exhibition 2010
12 12 GALLERY
announces an open call to all artists working with any photographic process to
submit entries for its International Juried Photography Exhibition 2010. The
exhibition juror, Dr. Patrick Amsellem, Associate Curator of Photography at the
Brooklyn Museum, will award up to $1000 in cash prizes.
ELIGIBILITY Photographers around the world age 18+, working in any photographic
process, may submit up to 3 images. Additional images may be submitted at
additional cost for up to a total of 5 works. Work previously exhibited at 12
12 Gallery is not eligible.

ENTRY PROCEDURE Entrants are asked to submit digital images on CD, DVD or
online. Slides may be submitted for an additional fee of $2.50 (US) per slide,
since a digital image is required for the juror to review. Only one image may
be submitted for each work.

29th Annual Smithsonian Craft Show
Smithsonian Women’s Committee announces a call for entry for the 29th Annual
Smithsonian Craft Show to be exhibited April 14 - 17, 2011 at National Building
Museum in Washington DC. Open to US residents, making craft items in the US in
one of the following craft disciplines: Basketry, ceramics, decorative fiber,
furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable arts and
wood. Entry Fee is $50 for online entry and $75 for mailed entries. Click here

Beyond the Brickyard
The Archie Bray Foundation announces its third annual international call for
entries, Beyond the Brickyard. The selected works will be exhibited at the
Archie Bray Foundation in Helena. MT, January 2011. This year’s exhibition will
be juried by 2010 Voulkos Fellow Paul Mathieu. The competition is open
internationally to ceramic artists 18 years of age or older. Artists may submit
up to 3 works for consideration, and up to 2 images of each piece (one complete
photo plus one detail or alternate angle). All artwork must be available for
sale and available during the time of exhibition. The cost of entering Beyond
the Brickyard is $35 USD for up to 3 works. From the successful entrants, two
awards will be selected: Juror’s Choice Award: $400; Director’s Choice Award:
$400.

Art Horse Magazine announces `Ex Arte Equinus IV`, an international equine art
competition for fine artists.The competition is open to Artists from all over
the world, who can enter up to twelve images showing their best work in the
categories of Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Digital Art. This
competition will provide equine artists the opportunity to show their work on an
international level. Images of winning artwork will be published in issue #12 of
Art HorseMagazine (published March 2011). Winners and selected images will also

Embracing Our Differences
Embracing Our Differences invites artists, photographers, professionals,
amateurs, teachers and students to participate in its 8th annual visual art
exhibit celebrating diversity. The exhibit will be displayed from April to May
2011 at Island Park along Sarasota’s bayfront. Since 2004, the exhibit has been
viewed by more than 850,000 visitors. The exhibit will contain 39
billboard-sized (16 feet wide by 12 1/2 feet high) images of the selected
artworks. Final selections will be made by a 3-judge panel of professional
artists, curators and art professionals. A total of $3,000.00 in awards will be
presented. Deadline for submission is January 10, 2011. There is no submission
